You are looking at a 1972 JT1 mini enduro. This bike comes with a clear michigan title and I have the original title that also that goes with it. I purchased this bike with the intentions of displaying it in my pole barn as this was the model I learned to ride on many years ago and it brought back many good memories. I cleaned the carb and the bike fired right up so I decided to disassemble the bike(not the engine as it did not need it) and paint a few things inspect the brakes and clean and grease all of the moving parts too make it rideable bike. The paint on the tanks fenders and head light is a little rough but were left alone so it has scratches dings and the type of wear you would expect to see. The rims are straight and the top end is the original bore. The seat is original cover and the foam and pan are good. This machine has almost all of its original parts including the cables which have cracking in the plastic covers but are fully functional. The tires and tubes are original but are weather checked and should be replaced if you intend to ride this bike. This is by no means a restored bike it has just been refurbished with its original parts for display but it runs well the brakes are great the steering head bearings have been cleaned and greased . The head light(high and low beams) and tail light work . The brake lights and horn are currently not working but all of the parts are there I am still tinkering with it and I hope to have them functional also there is some pitting on the upper portions of the forks and some of the other chrome has pitting. There are a few items that will need attention if you will be riding. The petcock is stuck in the on position and the carb had water in it that caused some corrosion . Both items should be replaced for dependable use. The tail light lens is rough. The gas tank has no rust inside. I make all attempts to be honest in my descriptions as neither I nor the new owner want any surprises. This vintage bike is a survivor that is nice as is but would make an ideal project for total restoration. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer honestly and quickly.
