When Yamaha launched this R1 in 2006 MCN gave it 5 stars in their Road test which isn?ˆ™t surprising bearing in mind it makes the best part of 170 BHP. weighed less than most of it?ˆ™s rivals and looked the part. not forgetting to mention Yamaha?ˆ™s build quality which is first class.

This virtually spotless example has covered just over 14. 00 miles and was supplied new in January 2007 by Cathedral Motorcycles. who also completed the first four services. The first at 504 miles in March 2007. the next at 3187 miles in May 2008. again at 4740 miles in February 2009. and then at 5997 miles in August 2009 just prior to being supplied to it?ˆ™s second owner in October 2009. Since then it has been fully maintained and service by it?ˆ™s owner who completed the last service at 11. 11 miles and had new tyre fitted in 2012.

You will see from the pictures that it is in outstanding condition throughout. and despite being very critical of bikes I list on eBay I'm hard pushed to find anything to fault this stunning bike on. apart from a few very tiny light stone chips and a faint rub mark on the edge of one of the mirror it's spotless and a real credit to it?ˆ™s previous owners who I guess must have spent more time cleaning it than riding and I doubt if it?ˆ™s seen a rainy day.
