2005 Yamaha XT 660 X XT660 2005 Supermoto VGC + TOP BOX and accessories

Welcome to the sale of my beloved XT660X!I have owned the bike for almost 3 years now and loved every minute of owning him. I've always had off-road parking whether garage or driveway and cover so he's never been parked in the street. Sadly. due to living abroad. it's just not getting enough use so I don't like to see it getting old and not used. I've been working abraod for almost 2 years and in that time done very little mileage outside of summer holidays. so bike is maintained well and used little. Battery died recently due to not being used so I have just replaced it. Bike has a very advanced alarm system that is touch-sensitive so if touched/moved/rolled once armed it will ring to high hell. I have put a gorgeous set of Carbon Can Co. stainless steel cans on (£260 for the pair!) which sound incredible and give much better low-RPM response. I have the original cans too if interested. I put Renthal handlebars on when I first bought it and these have been brilliant. Givi Top Box which comfortably holds a gym bag or a helmet and some waterproofs. Tyres have plenty life and I would change for a slightly softer compound next time around. Brakes perfect. Electics perfect (actually only thing that hasn't worked for some time is the green "N" light but I never rely on this anyway!)Overall a BULLETPROOF bike. always a joy to ride. excellent for City and inter-city commuting but I would not recommend for very long distances.
