2000 YAMAHA YZF-R1 BLUE Low mileage

 Here I have for sale my fantastic 2000 Yamaha R1 in racing blue. I have always loved the 5jj R1 and bought this a year and a half ago from a mature owner that had it garaged. When I picked this bike up on the 6th of April 2013. It had 6. 00 miles on the clock. the mileage now stands at 6700. This is and clearly always has been a dry weather bike. and as such is in excellent condition. there is little to tell between this and a 1-2 year old bike. It rides and stops perfectly and the Dunlop 207RR tyres still have lots of tread and have plenty of grip when warmed up. The bike was in completely original condition when I bought it. down to the dealer supplying numberplate. which matches the service booklet pack and keyfob. the second key still has its plastic sleeve on. I recently fitted some paddock stand bobbins and changed the original chain and sprockets for a a New DID gold Xring set. this was done for aesthetics and my peace of mind as the originals had no visible wear. In the last month I bought the Micron exhaust from brand new old stock which I think sets the bike off. and has a lovely loud burble. the original exhaust is immaculate and I have wrapped it in a blanket to keep safe. The oil has been changed by me two weeks ago with a genuine Yamaha filter and Shell advance ultra oil. at the same time as this I thoroughly cleaned the inside of the belly fairing so it is all nice and clean. The bike gets a liberal coating of WD40 when it sits and there is no corrosion anywhere. There are some stonechips on the front which is to be expected and the Yamaha decal on the underbelly has caught at some point before my ownership pulling the lettering away slightly. It took me a year to notice this as it is right underneath the bike on the kickstand side so it is never visible. I am selling this bike to buy a 2008 R1 as a change. and If I can find a bike as good as this I will be very happy. the first genuine viewer will almost certainly buy this bike. as it is a very clean and honest example to say the least with a nice low mileage. I have not mentioned tax as It has become non transferable now as far as I am aware. The bike has 4 recorded former keepers. the previous owner changed the V5 into his brothers name when he went overseas and then changed it back again. thus it was only in storage in this time and has only had two real owners/ riders previous to me.
