Not far from a rolling chassis with a lovely petrol tank when I aquired this beauty. it had a history of being well cared for. the engine sounded good and all the paperwork was correct. Built for comfort with safety in mind. I?ˆ™ve done 546 miles so the tyres are now run in and it?ˆ™s ready to rock n roll. I have used it daily for small rides since June 14. when I had it mot?ˆ™d and taxed for 12 months. It has started on the button every time. High mileage maybe. but the engine runs nice and sweet. it runs lovely at low and full power. It has just had an oil change and new filter; the old oil and filter were clean. Everything works including the 12V auxiliary and new digital speedo (it was quite expensive and is a genuine one). which is very accurate and has indictor lights for neutral. headlight and left and right turn. The petrol gauge is set to full and the gear indicator is not wired in. I did have a problem when it came to getting the rev counter to work. the wiring diagram seemed to be telling me to cut into the coil wires. I did this but it didn?ˆ™t work! Could be a faulty unit or just needs someone with a little more knowledge than I do on these matters. The brake shoes on the 5 x 16 wheel fitted are ready for replacing or just take 10 minutes to put the original wheel 4 x 18 back in. which has new brake shoes and a new avon roadrunner tyre. I didn?ˆ™t get round to fitting the rickman luggage rack. I was going to make it a quick fit when required type of fix. anyway it?ˆ™s included too. The leather tassels are laced on so can be easily removed if not to your suiting. the kids love them. The rear seat and grab bar are easily removed if required. looks great without in my opinion. There is a strap-on leather tool roll fitted. I keep waterproof trousers. torch. multi hex key tool and screwdrivers and there?ˆ™s still a little bit of space left. I?ˆ™m not exaggerating when I say how comfortable this is to ride. you feel like you could sit there all day. I fitted cruising pegs for those motorway rides. really comfy. There is a slight bit of resistance when engaging first gear. otherwise sound. Clutch is good with no slipping or dragging

 

The Rev counter doesn?ˆ™t work as stated above

 

Brake pads need replacing or wheel option as stated above

 

Paint work needs touching up here and there

 

Petrol tank leaks a little round cap if filled to the very top (approx 100 miles/full tank). Some sort of rubber sealant around the rim may fix this

 

No center stand (I use a couple of axle stands under foot pegs to change wheels etc. )
