1974 Yamaha YZ 250A Beatifully restored race bike lots of new parts

This beautiful 1974 YZ 250A race restoration is a matching numbers bike and features the following: Polished aluminum rims. new Buchanan spokes. new brakes. new Ohlins rear shocks. Fly levers and perches. Renthal bars. new Circle F pipe & silencer. new seat cover. grips and chain. The frame is powder coated. so are the hubs. the lower fork legs have been polished. The paint is very nice on the tank and rear fender. the front fender had a plastic weld repair. the overlay has been painted as well. I was informed by the owner with the exception of the cases. carburetor and head. most everything is NOS in the engine. There is a new PVL ignition in the bike as well and the air box is stock. The clutch actuator is obviously a non-stock item as well as the chain guide. The bike features a new Dunlop tire on the rear as well as a new Bridgestone on the front. I see a spacer plate on the bottom of the cylinder. I was told there is a long rod kit in the bike. I see the dished bolts on the triples and peg mounts as well as dished bolts which appear to be titanium in some places as well. 74 250 and 360 YZ models were delivered with a sand cast rear hub. this rear hub is from a later model. This bike starts easily and shifts smoothly. everything works as you would expect it to. This bike is in my shop on consignment from a long time customer. I did not do ANY of the work on the bike. Although built to be a race bike. you would be very close to a show quality display bike with the pipe. clutch actuator. some hardware and the front fender replaced.
