1975 Yamaha DT400 Enduro 2 stroke DT3 RT3 CT3 Kawasaki Suzuki

Up for sale is a 1975 Yamaha DT400 Big bore 2 stroke enduro motorcycle. I have a clean Illinois title in my name. This bike is fantastic condition and would make a great addition to any collection. I went through the bike to the frame and did a partial restore in this bike. Some things that are new are as follows. New tires and tubes. New front and rear spokes. Fork seals. Battery. Seat cover. handle bars. left handle bar switch. chain and both sprockets. just about all the rubber bushings throughout the bike. Many new fasteners. The carburetor was removed. ultrasonic cleaned. I painted it back to the stock color of black. Also all the inner parts have been replaced with new Yamaha parts. The engine has not been apart other that the exterior seal being replaced. The paint on the bike is original. Some small parts have been glass bead blasted and repainted to clean them up. This bike runs fantastic and has plenty of power to give. Everything electrical works just as it should. The only problem that has been taken care of is the tank had a small leak at the rear seam. Not a rust hole but it looked like the tank had been tightened down to far and stressed the seam a bit. I used a fuel safe puddy and patched this area. All has been good for some time now. These Big bore Yamahas are getting hard to find. This one is in above average condition for sure. Would make a great around town bike or a great addition to your endure collection.
