Old School Bobber. Built By Doc's Chops Yamaha XS650

Now of Hageman classic motorcycle engineering. He is a well respected custom builder featured in many magazines and television shows. I contacted him for some info on the build and his recollection is that the bike was built between 2005-2007 and that the motor had been thoroughly gone through. I don't know the mileage. His build quality is top notch and everything appears to be incorporated in the design. mounts and grounding points were thought out and built in so there are no cobbled together afterthoughts. Italian made Borrani rear wheel. was very expensive. I built a tool kit out of an oil tank under the seat. it opens with an allen key. it comes off with two bolts if you don't like it. Very cool. bare bones bike. Very clean look. Runs great. Recent $1100 spent on carb upgrades. service and improvements. No signals. or horn. Kickstart only headlight has hi/low beam. brake light only activated by foot brake. Pros: good compression. cons: You must wear boots and find TDC to start this bike otherwise it will kick back.
