1989 Yamaha RZ350 2-stroke YPVS Power valve RZ 350

1989 Yamaha RZ350. The bike has 33907 km which converts to 21060 miles. I have owned it 5 or 6 years but really only rode it the first couple summers. I always intended to lose the blue zig-zag paint scheme. but have been busy with car projects. The Canadian version was originally light blue with yellow accents (it never had the Yellow Kenny Roberts colours or red and white scheme). The previous owner also sprayed the windshield black. The clutch lever was bent when the bike was knocked over one day at work. There are various scrapes on the bike but no damage to the frame. wheels. swingarm or forks. Mechanically. it is in very good working order. It starts 1st or 2nd kick. I had the tank renewed four years ago. Carbs were recently cleaned. The previous owner says the exhausts are DG race pipes. There are some dents in the pipes and mufflers are somewhat decorative because the bike is very loud. All lights work. but the bike needs a new flasher unit. I have added a fuel petcock inline between the tank and carbs because on one exceptionally hot day the vacuum / tank valve opened with the motor off and flooded the carbs. Battery is new and the bike runs really well. As a small two stroke. there is not much there at low revs. but once the power valves open at about 5000 rpm these bikes really scream. Good fun and cheap to insure due to small displacement.
