1988 Yamaha DT50 Dual Sport Water Cooled *Minty*!

Here is your chance to own an all original. nmolested. minty DT50. Everything is original down to the tires. uel hose. etc. Nothing has been changed or replaced. I purchased this bike from the original owner who initially bought it for his wife but as you can see. it was barely ridden. 189 original miles! It had 184 miles. I got it home. cleaned the carburetor and it fired right up. Rides and shifts like a brand spankin new bike. The tank is absolutely dent or ding free with zero rust. This little gem is not perfect because it was ridden a little. So. expect to see a few scratches here and there. When I bought it. the rear turn signals were removed. I put them back on but I haven't got to test the turn signals because I have not put a new battery in . I have no reason to suspect they would not work. Unfortunately the owner could not find the title and suspects it was sent to the wrong address years ago. Since he lives in the desert. it wasn't a big deal for him because he never intended to ride it on the streets. I have a bill of sale from him along with the one and only registration card from 2006 in his name. Since it is a California bike. and it was not placed on a planned non operation. it does have $600 in back registration fees. With that being said. this bike is likely to be a candidate for out of state registration or simply a collectors piece. If you do intend to ride it. expect to change the fluids and of course the tires.
