I have a 100% Seller Rating! No Reserve Price. any bid can win! I am a mature rider barely over 40. not doing anything but trying to enjoy riding locally in NJ. I purchased this bike as a new leftover last Fall and haven't ridden it much at all. only 344 total miles. No passengers. never been dropped. no scratches. no wheelies. Never been in rain. never parked near other people's cars. etc. Bike has never been over 65 mph. but has been in every gear. Followed the break-in schedule of RPM limits so far. Stored under a cover and plugged into a battery tender inside a shed. I am just not interested in riding this style of bike and would prefer a super sport. I came from having a Ninja 500R and the seating position on this is pretty similar on the FZ8 to give you an idea. I have the title. this bike was not financed. I have both keys. owners manual. tool kit. The only modifications to the bike are the 2 side and 1 center TechSpec Snake Skin Grip Tank Pads ($50+) and I recently sold my frame sliders and added the Yamaha Engine Guard ($180+). I was going to put the original mirrors back on but I have these plug screw things from England to keep the water out (pictured) and one of them wont come out. It does not matter if you prefer the bar end mirrors like almost everyone on the FZ8 Forum. After trying one other expensive standard mirror. I opted for the CRG bar end mirrors ($220) and the Rhino Bar Ends ($80) that they attach to. There is no modification to the bike other than unscrewing the bar end and switching it back. I can include the original mirrors and bar ends. The heel guards next to foot pegs. and the mirror area is the only spot where you may notice signs of wear. I did not get to test drive this when I bought it with 0 miles. the last one locally. NO TEST RIDES. The FZ-09 is similar but you sit completely upright on that bike. this one you are leaning forward a little. The engine is very smooth. easy to shift in my opinion. Not sure if/how the warranty gets transferred. I do have a printed Warranty card but never got anything from Yamaha regarding the 12 month warranty which ends in mid October 2015. At least you know I would certainly take it to the dealer if anything was wrong with it. Right now the fuel tank is nearly empty. may be better for transporting it.
