1997 YZF-1000R ThunderAce - This bike is a beast

• Ready to ride. Needs no repair for you to hop on and ride. You might want to adjust some things however.
• Brakes clutch throttle and shifter all work great.
• Tires in good shape; no leaks.
• Chain has plenty of life left in it from my assessment.
• Fairings clean. Kept covered w/ battery tender.
• Battery 3 months old. Turns engine over with ease.
• Until today I had not started the bike in 2 weeks butit starts right up as you can see in this video.

• Scratch and crack on tank paint. Tank appears to be undented. See pictures for detail.
• Throttle grip is a little sticky. To the touch. The throttle itself is not sticky. Smooth and responsive.
• Windshield is cracked and is missing a screw. I never saw it happen so I must've bought it that way.
• Fairing stay/frame (by the handlebars) was broken so I had it welded back together. Solid as a rock now.
• Plastic clean and in excellent condition. Some scratches.
• Tank key and ignition key are different. I have trouble telling which is which and I never got around to trying anything clever like painting one of them a different color.
