1974 Yamaha 360 MX Motocross bike in great running condition

This is aNOreserve auction for my 1974 Yamaha 360 MX Motocross bike.

This bike had been in storage since late 1970’s!!

Apparently it stopped running and was put away. When I got it the bike had no spark and I discovered the CDI box was faulty and replaced it.

This bike seems to have very low time on it.

I have replaced or repaired the following items:

1). CDI ignition

2). Tank was professionally repainted with new decals it was very clean inside but the decals were bad from sitting.

3). New carb old one is included in sale

4). New seat cover (old one was cracked badly). The foam is wavy under the new seat cover I hope it smoothes out with usage.

5). New silencer.

This bike runs awesome. The engine sounds super tight. The transmission and clutch work perfectly. Starts easily (but takes a strong leg!).

I don’t think the engine has ever been apart and the way the side cover of the engine look it was hardly ridden.

Issues:

1). As mentioned the seat foam is bumpy.

2). The fork rebound feels weak to me but it may be the way they were in 1974.

3). The tires are original and have some cracks.

4). Oil tank for injection has a crack so I run pre-mix.

I don’t have a title isn’t needed for MX.

Really cool bike for vintage racing.

I will need a $350 deposit immediately after auction end and the balance by check or MO.
