Description

This bike was sold over the winter holidays to a NY buyer who wanted it to be rebuilt as close to stock as possible so I flew it in from Australia and fully rebuilt it for him and added a bunch of new parts and when I finished it he vanished. His loss.Motor was stripped and a fresh (50 miles) crank was fitted with all new seals. The stock mechanical tacho drive was refitted along with a NOS tacho that was still in its box. All new seals gaskets pistons & rings fitted. Imported a new front fairing /tacho mount from Jim lee and replaced the later model seat and fairing with OEM originals. Fairing appears to be original and has the aluminum belly pan and the small triangle filler part that fits between the fork legs. Pipes are OEM E model with Swarbrick mufflers and new rubber mounts.Ignition is Motoplat and has a special Y splice that allows it to work with a single kill switch/button. Normally Motoplat and PVL use two kill switches the Y splice allows it to work perfectly with a single kill switch which is much tidier. The ignition wiring was cleaned up and fitted with a waterproof 4 pin connector and new sheathing. It makes nice fat blue sparks by flicking the rear wheel. Fitted a new water temperature gauge. After trying two others this one is closest to the original style. Brakes were rebuilt and fitted with new Venhill banjo bolts with bleed screws and new black coated braided brake lines. New Mead Speed seat pad and front fender. RS125 clutch lever and cable for a cleaner light pull. Most of the hardware was freshly re-plated in bright zinc. It comes with a really nice race/display stand and some spares - gearing and jets. Carbs were new when we first built the bike for my son to race and have probably 100 miles on them so they are still like new. Tires are Dunlop TT900 GP compound. New tacho cable gear shift lever rear brake lever footpeg rubbers. Forks were rebuilt and have Race-Tech cartridge emulators and springs on suitably modified damper rods with fresh oil and seals. This bike has transmission oil in it but no fuel or water. Put on display in your collection or take it out and race it. It would be equally at home in either setting. I also have a spare TZ750A complete top end (head barrels pistons big reeds reed spacers and intake rubbers) available at extra cost to the buyer. Shipping is to be organized by buyer. Good luck and thanks for looking
