Description

For Sale here is a nice 1985 Yamaha Maxim 750cc motorcycle. It has been custom painted and in good condition overall with the paint starting to show it's age with some cracking around the gas tank filler neck and so on. It runs good and starts right up when it's cold but if you don't turn the gas off when you shut it off and it's hot it doesn't want to start right up all the time----so I assume it's flooding out a little???? Probably needs a tune upit's been sitting for a couple of years. We bought it about 4 years ago and rode it a lot the first 2 years then seemed to loose our nerve with all of the people out there texting and driving. Anyway it's time to clean out the garage so i'll auction it off to the high bid with no reserve. You are welcome to come and take a look at itbut no one can drive it as I have no insurance on it. If you buy it bring a trailer to pick it up because we live on a gravel road. It does run out nicely I'm just scared about accidents..The motorcycle will have to be picked up at our farm about 10 miles north of OmahaNE. and just off of I-29. We have the title in hand and it's free and clear and I expect cash at pickup. This bike would be great for someone who likes to ride occasionally or around town but would need some work before going on a long trip. The tires are probably around 50%. These bikes usually bring 1500.00 to 1800.00 if they are in really nice shapebut this one needs a little TLC. so somebody will get a great deal because i'll start it at 100.00 and you can decide where it ends? Thanks for looking!

I just took the bike out for a ride this morning( tues 5/16) and it runs fantastic. A lot of horsepower for a 750cc. When I got home noticed the carb was dripping a little gas so that's why it's hard to start when hot. Give it a carb kit and get a really nice bike on the cheap end. Also I didn't put in the description above that it's a shaft drive and 23875 miles. Good luck Bidding!
