1971 YAMAHA R5 R5B 350 RD 350 2 STROKE EXCELLENT CONDITION

I am selling my Mandarin orange – white 1971 Yamaha R5 R5B RD 350. This is a 350cc 2 stroke oil injected street bike. The bike runs absolutely perfect and everything works. This is an excellent survivor and is all original and numbers matching. The bike has 13394 miles I have not put more than 25 miles on the bike since purchasing; it is mostly used as a conversation piece. The bike spends most of the time covered and stored in a heated garage. Included in the auction is the original owner’s manual and the original sales brochure. Please read entire ad before bidding.

Engine:All stock. The bike starts and runs perfect. It was just serviced and the following was done: New battery New petcock New oil New spark plugs and the carburetors were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt. The bike needs nothing.

Body: Cosmetically the bike is in excellent original condition I have not seen one in better shape in person. The paint is the Mandarin orange – white. There are 2 blemishes such as a small scratch on the gas tank (see pictures) and the rear fender has a small ding behind the license plate. Other than that it is very clean. The seat is perfect and the inside of the gas tank is spotless. The chrome is in excellent condition. Original Yamaha mirror and the reflector on the rear fender under the plate is something I had not seen before.

Overall the bike looks great and it does get a lot of attention.

Examine pictures for condition.

Chassis: The bike rides perfect. The tires tread is in great shape but they are old and have dry rot. You may want to replace due to age.

The bike is sold with a NH registration (in my name) and bill of sale. New Hampshire does not issue titles for anything over 15 years old (non-title state). You will be able to obtain a title in any state with no problems.

I think I have gone through everything. Don’t miss out. Examine all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. If you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes.

This Bike must be picked up from Lowell MA 01852. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.
