1985 Yamaha YZ250NRestored MXTHIS IS ANO RESERVE AUCTION.BIKE WILL SELL TO THEHIGHEST BIDDER. Super nice matching numbers Yamaha 250 motocrosser. Purchased and restored at a cost of over $4K here's your chance toget asteal on this bike. I took this bike in on trade for one of my more expensive CZ's as this bike's builder decided he wanted to go back to racing the early vintage classes.

The previous owner found this very good core YZ and then decided to go overboard (as he described it) restoring the bike.Itwas completely disassembled and then restored with all new plastics seat & cover tires Pro-Taper alum barsScott grips cables all chain rub blocks on swingarmfuel lines etc. Frame & related bits were stripped and powdercoated. Motor is fresh at 2nd overbore. Wheels & swingarm rebuilt with all new bearings. Original tank isNEW OEM (see how bright white it is---NOT painted---that's brand new plastic). Superb KYB suspension was completelyrebuilt with all new seals & oil. New fork boots. All new graphics. Brakesare new cables are new controls are new. Original 'Z spoked' wheels are good with decent gold anodized DID rims. Pro-Circuit pipe with new DG silencer. New Uni-Filter. All new rubber manifolds seals wheel bearings etc.

This is a 2nd kick start engine and bike is very fast. This was a good year for Yamaha's YZs and they are very competitive in their class. A very good looking bike that runs as good as she looks.

ONLY ISSUES I can find are: Very minor wear.

Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. Bike has been sittingfor a while and should have a complete RACE PREP by you prior to riding or racing it.
