2005 Yamaha YZF R6 excellent condition only 770 miles. no plastic. good engine.

This item is a 2005 Yamaha YZF-R6. It has been garage kept and unused for the last 10 years. 770 miles. 1 owner Purchased new from Montgomeryville Cycle Center in Hatfield PA.

No plastic no battery. I will bring a jumper pack so the bike can be started.

So what is the situation here?? Glad you asked! This was one of three bikes I had around 2005 (Also an F2 and R1). I bought the R6 and soon decided to give up riding on the street. It had been taken for several street rides and one "track day" (not a race if you don't know the difference)I had planned to make the R6 a track bike. The stock plastic was sold planning to get track plastic. Never happened. Diapers and formula won the day taking the proceeds from the stock plastic. The bike sat waiting for plastic... And waited... Until now...

This bike has not been raced. It was not prepped for the track no drilling for safety wires etc. It has never been dropped and never been crashed. Once a grass rake fell on it. It also has a bit of saw dust from being in the garage. I did not wash it due to the exposed connectors. You will get to look at it in true condition and not some 'lipstick on a pig' sale.

The engine runs and sounds great. Video available. there are a few tiny scratches on the middle of the can most likely from the rake attack. (see pic) The Scott's dampner included (See pic)

To get on the street with this bike you will need plastic (fairings and wind screen) with lights bolt kit (fasteners for fairings) andbattery. Please have a reliable mechanic perform a safety inspection and follow their recommendations.
