1975 Yamaha XS 650 Chopper Bobber Custom Project XS650

RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER: Here's a great opportunity for someone to finish out this bike how they would want it. It's a 1975 Yamaha XS 650. I purchased this bike about 12 years ago as a running original bike that someone had put an aftermarket cam in I rode it around a short while then decided to hardtail and customize it. A friend of mine who has built a lot of these bikes helped me with the frame we hardtailed it and raked the front end some. The gas tank is a modified original and I started fabricating some forward controls. Everything on it is just tack welded in place and the bike will need to be taken apart for final welding fitting finishing and wiring. The oil tank under the seat is a fake one I made that I was going to put the switches and electrical in. I have a lot of new parts to go with it including a new chain sprockets new controls brake cylinder fork covers stainless brake line grips and other items including new tires which are not pictured. If I remember correctly it was about $800 in new parts alone. Bike is sold as is but ran well when I started working on it has been sitting for about 10 years I just have too many projects and need to send this one on to someone who has time to get it finished.
