This bike sets the benchmark for the middleweight cruiser class as it's characteristics appeal to both entry-level and seasoned riders. The bike has a V-twin air cooled engine that delivers plenty of torque without the loud distinct noise of some of the big-cruisers. The design of this extra low 26.5 inch seat is one of the great features about this bike which allows for easy handling and weight distribution.
The full-sized chassis has a long, ow look and provides spacious comfort. Handling is responsive and great for curvy back roads or even as a daily commuter and open-highway cruising. No wonder V-Twin Magazine named V Star 950 the 2009 ‘Metric of the Year!’
This particular bike has higher mileage because it was used a crusader bike from Chicago to California. Most of the miles are highway miles driven in high gear without alot of shifting. The bike does have some minor scratches in the plastic rear fender (please see photos) as well as on some of the chrome. The bikes comes equipped with two (2) leather covered/hardened saddle bags which are lockable. You will see from the photos that I have removed the two manufactured chrome piping that was adhered to both sides of the fuel tank. I have both pieces and they can easily be adhered back onto the tank if one prefers.
The bike has had new brakes and a new battery installed. The tires are in acceptable condition but will need new tires within the next 6,000 miles or so. I lost the original set of Yamaha keys but have two (2) replacement keys.
I hate to sell this bike but I will be moving out of state and will not be able to take it with me. I have possession of the title free and clear of any incumbencies. ( I have a bank pay off letter as additional supporting documentation)
