1975 RD350 Special Build

1975 Yamaha RD350 Special Build. This bike is fast and the power band comes on strong. I built this bike to be an early 70's Grand Prix race replica that can be ridden on the street. The frame, wing arm, ims, ustom built front fairing stay and rear tag/tail light mount are powder coated gloss black. The fork lowers and wheel hub assemblies are powder coated silver. The fairings and gas tank are painted Speed Yellow, he silver on the gas tank is actually bare aluminum that has been clear coated. The wheel assemblies have all new bearings and seals installed and have been re-laced with stainless steel spokes and nipples by Buchanan's. The forks have been rebuilt with Race Tech springs and Race Tech Gold Emulators installed. The rear shocks are Hagon, rom the UK. The swing arm has had the worn out plastic OEM bushings replaced with pressed in bronze bushings with stainless steel inserts. The final drive is a D.I.D. 520 chain conversion with an aluminum rear sprocket, ade by Sprocket Specialist. The gas tank is an all aluminum tank, rom the UK with a high flow brass petcock.The front brake caliper is new reproduction with an EBC floating and drilled rotor. It has a radial master cylinder.The rear drum brakes have new shoes installed. The mirrors are CRG folding mirrors, and grips are Renthal kevlar grips. The radiator is a custom Ron Davis Racing built 2 inch thick aluminum radiator, es this bike is water cooled. The engine is an 350cc liquid cooled, ual carb, ix speed Yamaha. It has a new Wiseco top end and a high flow billet water pump. The expansion chambers are Moto Cerra bought brand new, ou can not buy these anymore. The fiberglass body work has been highly modified to fit the bike with the radiator and expansion pipes.Seat is custom made seat pan with custom made cover and contrast stitching. Bike has only head light with HI/LO function and tail light with running/brake function, o turn signals or battery. Odometer is a vintage 1975 unit I bought used reading 9735 miles but this build only has 23 miles on it. Also there is a Trail Tech temperature gauge.
