Frame up restoration Looks and runs better than new, ot sure when restoration was complete but I've had the bike for 4 years and have only ridden around the block to circulate the fluids. Always stored indoors.
Frame and engine #'s match, rame painted silver have noticed some chipping on engine covers. Minor.
Many many new parts call me and I'll go through the list. Headlight not hooked up but wires are in the box of extra's. Over 40 new parts put into restoration! Over $3700.00 invested!
This super nice bike starts first or second kick idles perfect runs smooth. Very strong motor Runs and handles almost like a modern bike, ice and light.
This 1977 D. Model TY 250 is believed by many trails experts to be the best twin shock trails bike of the era.It has many improvements over the earlier 1974 TY250 A. This rare model 1977 TY250D has much narrower Magnesium side cases. Heaver flywheel for smoother torque delivery.
