1976 Yamaha YZ125X Vintage Restored AHRMA

1976 YZ 125X Limited Edition – TOTALLY RESTORED

I restored this bike and rode it once about 5 laps around the track.

EVERYTHING on this bike is powder coated…frame, ubs, wing arm, mall parts. The entire engine was dissembled, ases split and new seals, askets, tc so the engine could be powder coated. Fresh bore on the cylinder. Crank was inspected and is good.

The only paint on this bike is on the tank.

Monoshock was rebuilt by Josh at EBR Racing. New spring was put on the mono. Front forks are AIR forks that I rebuilt the seals etc myself. Lower fork tubes were wet sanded, olished and clear coated with two part corrosion resistant clear coat.

Bike runs GREAT! Too many things to list. They only made a limited number of these X models to give to Yamaha racers and dealers.

Only one things to note:

1) There is a small scrape that we put on one lower fork tube moving the bike that will have to be repaired. The NOS fork gators I found are splitting. You can see both in the pictures.

I always list full disclosure of any problems. This is a piece of art that I have hundreds of hours in the restoration

UPDATE: Previously did not mention that bike has a NEW Mikuni V34 carb. I found the original Mikuni carb that came on the bike and will throw that in too. I can send you a pic if requested.
