1977 Yamaha RD400 ONE owner survivor

Time to move on, have owned this RD400 since I bought it new in 1977. It was my only running motorcycle for the last few years. Always a good starter and a good runner.
This is a survivor, t has original paint everywhere. It can either be taken completely apart and rebuilt as it came out of the factory or be used as is with the patina it has acquired for the last 38 years. The original toolkit iscomplete, othing missing.
Cosmetic deviations from stock are the following: the wheels and cylinders were painted black, he disks were drilled, andlebars are lower european type and the rear view mirrors are replacements.
The following alterations were done for reliability: the rear master cylinder is a replacement, riginal parts will be sent with the bike, ut they need to be rebuilt. The ignition is a CDI pointless fully programmablesystem made by Ignitech. The tank bottom was cut open and welded back to clean the inside and remove a small dent.
As can be seen on the pictures, ome fasteners show slight surface rust, ome paint has chipped or worn off due to years of being used.
37,781 KM on the clock, o more, his is the original speedo and it has not been replaced.
The engine was rebored in the early eighties after a slight seizure and the bottom end was opened to fix the transmission last year, ince then, o further work was performed and everything runs fine. Everything works, ven the self cancelling flashers do what they are supposed to do, he horn however is feeble ;-). I will include a service manual.

I can deliver within a 600Km radius of Montreal where the bike is located for gas money (to and fro) or to put it another way, ew York, oston, oronto, uffalo.
I can also ship anywhere in the world, uyer will have to pay for the crate and shipping before the bike is shipped. I will build the crate, ome disassembly may be required to better fit in the crate and insure no damage is done on the way. The shipping carrier may be selected by the buyer or I can find one.
There is obviously no warranty on a bike this old, ll I can give is my word of honour that everything stated is true and that the bike was used until july 2015.
