1985 RZ350 Very nice example Kenny Roberts

Up for sale is a gorgeous 1985 Yamaha RZ350. The bike was professionally painted and all of the decal work was airbrushed on (except the Kenny Roberts signature) instead of using stick on decals, nd the detail is amazing. The frame has been powder coated the original red color and looks absolutely beautiful. It has the very rare and sought after Corbin seat and it is in excellent shape. The wheels have been refinished back to the original gold color and look like new. The bike was restored bya previous to the owner that I purchased it from, nd the guy was trying to assemble as close to new RZ as he possibly could. The bike starts up usually on the 1st or 2nd kick, hifts through the gears very easily, nd sounds amazing with the JL chambers. It accelerates through the RPM range smoothly and runs very well.

Engine

Previous owner had cracked engine case so they purchased NOS cases from Yamaha and had them stamped with the original serial numbers. The engine was then rebuilt, oth bottom and top ends. Bottom end has new seals, askets, nd bearings and new clutch plates. Top end was bored 1.0mm over and has Wiseco Pro Lite pistons, ro Design cool head w/21cc dome.

Custom

Chrome plated swingarm, oot rest brackets, hain adjusters, rake pedal, nd shift lever. Polished forks with new seals, ustom billet tree nut

NOS

Left and right handlebar controls, rips, ar end weights, ront and rear master cylinders, nner and outer rear fender, hrottle, lutch, ach, nd speedo cables, achometer, ight and left engine covers, il pump, oses and tank, hain guard

Other New Parts

Bridgestone BT45s front and rear, K gold chain, ilicone radiator and water pump hoses, ront sprocket and Sprocket Specialist aluminum rear sprocket

As with many of the RZs, his one has a few mounting tab issues, ut they have been repaired and the panels reinforced. The two back and right front mounting points on the rear cowl have been repaired and reinforced with small steel plates, oth side covers had small cracks and were fiberglass reinforced, he crack on the left cover is visible. All of these repairs look professional. I would estimate that the paint is around6 years old, t has a few very minor imperfections from being ridden, ut overall still looks stunning.
