I bought this bike a few years ago just for nostalgia’s sake because I used to have one as a teenager. This bike is in used condition, t is not showroom condition.However, t does run great and looks good for being 42 years old.It starts right up and I do ride it around the neighborhood.It is street legal and licensed in Illinois, nd I have clear title in my name. It does have matching engine and chassis numbers.The fuel tank and oil reservoir are original and the tank has the usual blemishes, ings and minor knee dents from age.There is slight dent and discoloration on the oil reservoir, s well as the chrome handlebars, hocks and spokes. The handlebar grips are aftermarket. The fenders have been repainted, s well as the chain guard. The frame has been touched up where surface rust was showing and the seat is an aftermarket seat.Although the bike starts up easily and shifts well throughout the gears, n between 2nd and 3rd gear you hear a slight knocking sound. I did bring it to a guy who works on vintage bikes and had it checked out.I was told it was nothing to worry about. The headlight and taillight are in working order, s well as the brake light the gauges do not light up.The turn signals do not work. The charging system has a slow charge and will not keep the battery fully charged.I don't know if the actual miles shown on the odometer are correct, nd the previous owner did not have the original key.I have never shipped a motorcycle and would prefer not to.I would rather have you pick it up in person so you can inspect the bike, ut I will assist the new owner as much as I possibly can, nd will help to transport it if at all possible.PLEASE NOTE:I'm giving the most accurate description that I can and I will be glad to answer any questions about the bike.Please remember that this bike is 42 years old and, s you can see from my 100% EBay satisfaction rating, make every effort to disclose any issues in advance regarding the products I sell.
