Up for auction is my sons "project bike" a

1985 Yamaha Virago xv700.

The bike has had the following modifications :

The bike is 99% complete......However,,,,

The BAD

When you hit the starter button.... The bike just goes WEEEEEEE (It kinda sounds like an electric bread knife)

Perhaps a bad "Bendix Spring"... Possibly bad starter ?????

The bike currentlyWILL NOTstart.

If you are the mechanical type... this "Project" is for you!

My son has recently returned from Afghanistan with the ARMY And is now headed for the Department of corrections so.... this "Project" will not be completed by him, He is just too busy and doesn't want to spend any more time or money on it. PLUS....... I need the room inMY garage!

A mechanically minded individual could most likely get this bike up & running in no time....Perhaps a good "FATHER & SON" Project for the winter.
