Yamaha TX650 XS650 cafe racer hageman docschops motorcycles

This is a 1973 Yamaha 650 which I built for a client in 2006. The bike was built for a friend who has recently suffered some medical issues and can no longer ride. The bike only has 1200 miles on since the complete rebuild. Back in 06 the engine was completely torn down and rebuilt, ew pistons, ings,cam chain, uides, ump filter, lutch, lutch bearings, eals gaskets, alve reface etc. Top end was glass bead blasted and still looks new. New starter bendix gear, clip, pgraded clutch bearings, ables, lutch arm, inned oil filter cover.
The bike also has a complete Boyer ignition, GM battery and simplified wiring. There are no turn signals or horn but could be added rathereasily. The handlebar switchgear was replaced with new xs650 replicas. All brakes were replaced along with components, isc drilled. New wheel bearings, ires, pokes, olished rims all in 06, ires have no cracks or wear.
The fairing is an Airtech 3piece. You can run the bike without the two lowers if you want, r you can remove the whole fairing in a matter of minutes with 6 bolts. The wholeassembly removeseasily in one piece. Then clamp on a single headlight and you're ready to go without the fairing.
Therear sets are Tarozzi universals, lso the stockmid set pegs will be included if you aren't comfortable with the rear sets.
Fuel tank is an xs750, ust free inside, ew cap and petcocks in 06.
The condition of the bike is excellent but does show some wear. Paint is typical black, ooks very nice and no major scratches, o dents. The bike did have knee pads which I removed, ou can see where they were but I think a little buffing would remove any marks.
Tail light is an led strip, as integrated turn signals built in, ut not hooked up or wired for turn signals, ould be added.
I don't see any oil leaks, ll seals were replaced in 06. Bike runs and rides like a typical 650, as late model mikuni CV carbs, dding some VMs might be abeneficial power boost if you wanted, ut still runs good with the CV carbs. The exhaust was replaced with the Mikes xs performance system.
