1982 XT550

Selling my 1982 Yamaha XT 550 Thumper which was Yamaha's first year of the 550 dual carb scrambler
The bike is in perfect running condition with matching frame and engine numbers and I hold a clean title.
I am the second owner - original owner used it on his farm only to check fences and cattle - when I received it the bike was in decent condition with it's original color being red and white.
I am a professional firearm refurbisher and resprayed the bike in the hard wearing tough DURACOAT firearm finish and completed this with military emblems. The paint will outlast any auto paint and has a textured finish.
A NEW chain and both sprockets was fitted plus NEW fork seals.
The bike has a brand new battery, as had a recent oil change with K&N filters, as a new K&N air filter as well as new plugs - it starts on the first kick and is my daily driver.
I fitted a streetfighter headlamp made by Acerbis (cyclops) and removed the front signal lights to accomodate this.
Rear end has new signal lenses and a custom cut fender with rack. The Fishing creel complements the bike as I have used it to go fishing offroad BUT it is easily removed

All ORIGINAL parts I took off, ome with the bike
