this is a great running and riding bike ready to ride as is or correct some of its cosmetic flaws !! this is a great collectors bike as it was limited production ,all light work and it runs and shifts as it should for a 1980 bike with 7900 miles on it, OW IS THE TIME TO PURCHASE ! ATTN: there seams to be a issue on production and vin number, could only go bye my research ?? this vin is the lowest I have seen(it might be the first hand full of midnight specials) vin numbers were not sequenced in order for all 1100 model, the vins where sequenced for all midnight specials including 850's and 650 twins so yes you may have a vin that is in the 2 thousand range or higher as it is inclusive of all midnight special, as stated from the info I got, could only put it out there !! as stated from the info I got there where only 250 1100 model produced each year . if someone has better info please forward the links and I will pos, this is all I could do .thanks this bike is a low mile original owner bik, that runs fantasti, and needs light cosmetic, left it as sits instead of spray bombing it.
