Vintage 1966 305cc 2 stroke Yamaha- first Yamaha road bike made in the USA!!!

I am offering here a vintage classic 1966 Yamaha 305cc road bike. This was the first year Yamaha made this classic here in the USA. 2 stroke. left handed kick starter. dual chrome mirrors. 4700+ miles.Repainted body. there is rust in the gas tank and has not been started up in awhile. there is no registration or title. has not been registered since 1981.

The YM1 featured an oil-injection system that fed oil to the carburettor intake, he oil flow increasing as the throttle was opened. This gave the motorcycle sufficient lubrication for the crankshaft, ylinders, onnecting rods, nd pistons without requiring premixing of the oil and gas and with reduced use of oil.
The YM1 shared common parts with the 246 cc YDS3 and was virtually identical in all respects with the exception of bore and stroke.
We are in the process of cleaning it up and trying to get it started. We haven't even attempted yet.
Great for motorcycles collectors or restore it to it's original condition!!!
