The Yamaha SRX600S was only available for one year and is very rare. I purchased this motorcycle in 1992 with 5,600 miles on it. It had been run over a curb and had been laid down lightly on the left side. It needed new wheels and a dent in the gas tank fixed among some other smaller items. This bike has been a fabulous ride that turns heads wherever I ride it. I’m very torn on selling it but we are downsizing and I need to sell a few bikes.

Starts, uns, nd rides great. Kickstart only, he way God intended, ut easy to start (my 5’4” girlfriend can start it). Everything works as it should. No leaks. Handles beautifully, ounds awesome, nd stops really well for its age. Super cool like it's old man, he SR500 only faster and even more rare.

I have complete service records for the time I’ve owned it and if it ever needed something I fixed it. Always serviced with Yamalube 20w-40 and OEM filters.

In 2003 at 20,468 miles the motor was puffing a little smoke on start up and needed valve guide seals. I had the motor overhauled with a 2nd over OEM piston/rings, omplete cylinder head overhaul including new valves, ew improved 5th gear set (a common issue with this motor), nd all new seals and gaskets. Roy’s Repair in Minneapolis did all of the motor work.
