This is an original Yamaha 1978 XT500 4 stroke single cylinder. Numbers matching. Bike has clear title. If you have looked for XT500's you will be able to see how stock/original and unaltered this bike is. Never restored and motor has never been opened. All wiring, ights, ontrols, nd gauges function as they should. Bike has original air box and the ignition key fits the battery side plate and fork lock. Starts 2-3 kicks with LOTS of compression, uns great with no motor noises, nd lots of power. Bike shifts smoothly through all of the gears. This bike has sat for a long time (only 7,000 miles) some blue smoke out tail pipe when first started but goes away after warmed up. New handlebars, rips, nd O-ring chain are the only things that have been replaced that I can see.
