Vintage 1980 Yamaha YZ 50 G Motorcycle flat track racer fiberglass fender seat

Bike is clean and would be perfect for restoration = Vintage 1980 Yamaha YZ50 G Retired flat track racer.that use to race right here in Richmond Va at the state fair grounds and greens raceway in the early 80s. Bike has true flat track fiberglass fender with seat and vintage Nankang flat track tires that are in great shape. The rims have some pitting in areas. The muffler has damage and is missing the silencer. It will need a new pipe and carb also the intake. It came with a yz 60 intake and a 1980 yz 80 carb was on it. The intake and yz80 carb will be in another auction since it is not for this bike. Frame has been extended to fit these larger tires and they did a nice job as the welds look great. Bike was painted black and I started sanding the tank to remove the paint and also sanded the fiberglass fender. Someone before me lifted the bike up from the rear of the fender and cracked it on each side. Can be fix with fiberglass repair. The cylinder has been removed and I noticed 1 score on the inside (see 1st cylinder pic) and I planned on having it bored and was gonna restore this bike as the flat tracker that it is or you can bring it back to original. The Conrod is in great shape and is not bent. I keep the cylinder and head in a box. All you have to do is take the cylinder to a machine shop to have it bored and they will match up the right size piston for it. I was quoted $65 for the bore job. You can purchase the Piston and rings here on ebay or other suppliers online. I have since moved on and need the funds to invest in another project of mine. This bike did run and clutch and transmission are in perfect working order. Shifts through all gears with no problem. It just didn't have a lot of compression This bike is for local pick up in Henrico, irginia or winning bidder can make shipping arrangements.
