Stored inside my home at ambient temperature!
This bike was never raced! Shifts as new and there is nothing broken or missing. Rims & hubsare true and not damaged. New wheel bearings and brake pads.Suspension functions as new!
The engine was completely rebuilt including new crank shaft bearings, resh bore (1st over), ew piston/rings.All new bearings and seals installed through-out the engine!Clutch rebuiltwith all new components.
The previous owner rebuilt the engine out of preservation andfor longevity. He indicated that it was not necessary but because he is a mechanic, e wanted to replace everything inside the engine using OEM components. In total there was over $1800.00 invested inOEM parts on/in this bike.
Air box is like new and includes new Uni Filter. Carburetor has new floats w/valve & seat, ainjet and air jet. Radiator is new and there are no leaks in the entire coolant system!
New chain/sprockets, ew cables and throttle housing (stock)! Seat has no tears, lastic is in very good toexcellent condition! The Pipe and silencer have no dents!
This Bike was not rode into the ground. Light use/low hours on original platformandthis scenariocan begaged by the over-allcondition of the foot pegs/pins, ear of braking linkage and cosmetic condition of the Bike.
This is acomplete stock Bike and is a very good candidate for full restoration to "MINT" condition.
For mention: You cannot buy anything neweven remotelyclose to the 1982 YZ125! Dry weight is only 210 Lbs! I am only 5' 6" and the bike is just too tall for me. I have other bikesin my collection that are shorter like the 1979 YZ125.
Irode this bike down the trail and tested everything. I have7 minutes on the bike after initial warm-up. From there, t went straight into myhomeand is on display with my collection of YZ's which are all out-of the sun! I am 50 miles west of Chicago, ff I-88.
