1971 Yamaha R5 Beautifully Restored Survivor

I'm offering this very nice 1971 Yamaha R5 35, f your reading this you probably know this is the race bread model that reallytook Yamaha to a new level of sales and performance respect in the U.S. and this model quickly got a reputation as a Triumph eater on the street at almost half the engine displacement. This model then evolved into the RD350 and by the late seventies the RD400 . This one is especially nice find and very original with respect to it still having most of its original parts the bike has been disassembled detaile, rofessionally painted and polished.The bike was not a rundown or rusty abused bike it was kept well since new, t was just showing some age so it was restored to the currentshow condition. The muffler pipe are very nice with no rust but there is some acid staining on the insides and some minor scuffs but still about as nice of an original set you would likely find that hasn't been re-plated, he fenders are very nice and the Chrome is in excellent shape The seat pan was very nice ( none of the typical rust you see on so many of these)but needed a freshening with a new foam & cover which was professionally installed over therestored original seat pan . The tires and battery arefairly new and the bike comes with abattery tender. The Carbs have been redone and the bike starts with just a light kick .The fuel tanks is very nice inside and was never rusty.
