1988 Yamaha FZR750R FZR 750 AMA Racing Homologation 1 of 200

I am selling my numbers matching 1988 Yamaha FZR750R with only 7103 miles.

This rare FZR750R is a fully fledged road racer designed and built for AMA Superbike racing, uantities were limited to the 200 required for AMA racing homologation.

The Yamaha FZR bodywork shown in the pictures is in excellent condition, o cracks, o broken tabs and rust free fuel tank. When I bought the bike 4 years ago, he original bodywork needed repair but wanted to keepthe setoriginal, o I bought a second set of Factory Yamaha FZR bodywork and had that refinished to factory 1988 FZR750Rspecs.I have included the original plastics and fuel tank (except upper fairing) in the auction, hey are not in the best of condition but would be nice to have. I was able to purchase an NOS Yamaha upper fairing with flawless original factory paint, he second set of the body work was refinished to match the NOS upper fairing currently on the bike. The windscreenand mirrors arealsoYamaha OEM factory originals.

None of the fasteners have been drilled for safety wire.

The bike does have theYamaha OEM exhaust and air box, robably not many of these itemsleft as these were one ofthe first things removed from the bike.

All electrical works as it should. The bike also comes with the original tool kit and factory service manual.

The FZR has been stored for the last 3 years in a warehouse and was covered. I just installed a new battery, resh fuel and changed the engine oil but needs a full service including the carbs. If you want a great example of a rare 1 of 200 FZR750R, his is the one to get.
