Yamaha TT500 Street legal build as 1979 model XT500 TT 500 XT

thevintagespoke Store We built this cycle for the shows this last spring and summer to show case some of our products and workThe call for street legal TT's has been on the rise the last few years. but the cost to take a TT and install all the XT parts (which the frame is not made for ) is extremely expensive. so what we decided to do was think this backwards and make an XT a street legal TT!So we built the most popular TT of all time the dynamic 79!We started by using the CDI ignition 1980 model XT and went from there. installing the aluminum swing arm was a chore and required a lot of thinking. but once finished it turned out beautiful and functional. We did a little internal motor work. big valves. mild cam. smoothed the ports flat slide carburetor which enhanced the power through out the engine. Everything is new on this bike from bearings to body work. excel rims. tires. seat. handle bars cables grips and anything I have forgot. The muffler is our stainless type. which can be heat coated black if you desire. progressive shocks and front springs and we re worked the dampeners so it handles GREAT ON AND OFF ROAD :) The fuel tank got a few dings while in transit back from the Los Angles bike show  last month as the strap broke on the bike next to it. we do plan on installing a brand new one but we will not have it for a few months. we ask that you trade us back new one for the one on the bike. We also installed a IT400 speedo. the mileage is not reflective to the bike as the bike itself has at most 3 miles on it. we will roll the odometer back on the speedometer if you wish. with your consent ONLY!Street Legal title is included of course.
