1977 / 78 YAMAHA 650 SPECIAL MOTORCYCLE NO RESERVE

This bike has been in a barn for several years. It does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale. I checked with Illinois DMV and they said that a new title could be applied for and takes 3 months. Frame is marked 10/77 so I don't know if it was titled as a 77 or 78. 1978 was the first year of the Special 650so who knows. It was owned by a rancher who used it to ride around his farm. He passed away several years ago and it has been sitting since. We pulled it out of the barn, leaned it up, ut a new battery in it, leaned out the old fuel, nd it fired right up. It runs real nice. Electric starter kicks right in. The hydraulic front brake will need servicing. It is in overall VG condition for its age. Great for restoration or strip it for parts. I am located in Union IL 45 minutes NW of Chicago O'Hare Airport just off I-90. I will have a video of it running up in a couple of days. Pickup is preferred but I will help arrange shipping.
