1976 Yamaha RD400 cafe project includes crating ready to go
Started project 1 yr. ago but put on hold...
Took some pictures of freshly powdered coated frame with primer painted tank and fiberglass tail. It has the proper line with seat pan lining up with tank. I threw on tank and tail for pictures so you can get the feel of where I was going with it.When I purchased the bike the previous owner fired it up first kick no problem, ylinder walls are clean with good compression. I'm including a new engine gasket set and complete stainless steel engine bolt set as pictured.
Modified frame is still wrapped up from powder coating with eggshell semi gloss finish, ut off side plate tabs as I wanted to clean up center minus plate & oil tank. Welded battery mount under tank (perfect fit) for a Antigravity Batteryand welded seat rail to mount fiberglass seat pan.The line andsymmetrybetween gas tank and seat pan line upbeautifullyThe tank is in great condition inside and out, o rust. It has a small dent 1/4 inch as pictured on left side.Some items worth mentioning that are not included are; wheels, ear swing arm, mong other small items I'm not recalling at this time.Everything that is pictured is what's included... so, lease look at pictures carefully. If you don't see it on the pictures it's NOT included..The California Title currently as non-operating vehicle. Vin #'s match with engine as pictured.
I'm only selling as package so I won't be interested in selling engine, rame or parts separately.
