1975 YAMAHA RD350B

Up for auction is a pristine 1975 Yamaha RD350B. NO RESERVE!
This is a very nice original example of the venerable RD350, ith 1975 being the last year of production before the 400. I have owned this bike for 5 years and spared no expense in maintaining it. She starts on first or second kick, arms up quick - rides and handles like a dream. Clutch and gearbox are smooth, rakes are strong. This is a numbers matching original bike with exception of a tank repaint and lined by the previous owner. The paint is very nice all around with little to no blemishes. Chrome on the wheels is fantastic, lsewhere there is some light pitting/scratches here and there, hat you would expect with a 40+ year old machine. There is one ding on the front fender at the very bottom (see pic). Mufflers are in great shape with no dings to speak of but some scratches and a little battery acid staining. Seat is original with no rips or tears. Mileage is 6,186. While I have no way of guaranteeing the mileage accuracy, ith the way this bike looks and rides I have reason to believe it's accurate.
Bike has received the following over the past couple years:

• Rebuilt & synced carburetors
• Replace fuel lines w/Tygon and new fuel filters
• Set points and timing
• Replaced spark plugs, oints & condensers
• Replaced all oil injector hoses - only usedAMSOIL Dominator Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil
• Replaced front fork oil
• Installed new Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 Tires front & rear
• Replaced handlebars with slightly lower set (but no too low) - I didn't like the ridiculous high stock bars. Sorry don't have the stock bars but if you would like to return it to original they can be found on eBay for $30-40.
• Replaced stock air cleaner with superior K&N filter and Y-Boot. Allows the bike to breath better for better response and economy. I have the original air box and it will come with the bike.
• Replaced mirrors with reproductions similar to what came on the 1983-1984 RZ350
• Brand new battery this month

This is a beautiful example of the classic giant killer. I'm sure whoever wins the auction will be very happy. Mileage may go up a little as I get in my last few rides ;-)
Bike is available for local pick up and can be inspected by appointment before auction end. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs however I can assist by recommending a shipper and help coordinate pick up & load. I can also deliver within a 100-150 miles distance from my location for $1 per mile fee. There is a $250 down payment required within 48 hrs of auction end. Balance is due in 7 days payable by bank check or wire transfer. I can store the bike for a reasonable period of time while you schedule and await pickup. This is a 41 year old bike, t is sold as is, here is no warranty expressed, ritten or implied.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as this bike is up for sale locally.
