From the estate of aerospace engineer &club road racer David Molitor, nown for the meticulous care of his street and racing bikes. Molitor was a regular at Willow Springs Motorcycle Club events -- bothtrack days & races-- where he placed well in the Formula 50 class, ven winning on occasion. Remembering his friend in a Roadracing World obituary, eremy Toye said of Molitor, He would show up with an R1and an FZR1000, nd both of them were the cleanest bikes out there, ands down. The FZR looked like it rolled off a showroom floor."

Molitor'sFZR1000, aving covered less than an estimated 5000 miles, as just been treated to a 'make-run' at Jordan Engineering, onsisting of a carb clean, ew sparkplugs &fresh battery. Compression on all cylinders was 210-215 psi and theengine recorded an impressive 151 hp at the rear wheel on Jordan's dynamometer (see chart, hoto 15 in the gallery).Among the bike's many features:
