1980 YZ 125G

I purchased this bike in 2006. Since then I have done a lot of work on it, nd I have maintained it enough to always start up easily. I have retained most of the receipts for parts and work done to it. When I bought it, t ran but it had low compression. The original cylinder on the bike had been bored out to the maximum amount, nd the top end was not in great shape. I had the cylinder sleeved by a reputable shop in Portland, regon. It was put back together with a new (stock size) Wiseco piston kit and has ran great ever since. The combustion chamber on the head was also resurfaced and polished by another great machine shop (Lindvig in Phoenix, R.) The original carburetor works great and is paired with a twin-air air filter setup. It has plenty of meat on a big 120 dunlop rear tire, nd has a brand new pair of moose racing 7/8 handlebars.Everything works on the bike but the plastics are pretty roughed up.Other after market parts include : new shifter, ew clutch discs, ill switch, ustom diamond plate airbox cover and more. It was geared down nicely by changing the rear sprocket.
