Description

Hello, his bike features a 6-speed transmission, actory electronic ignition, nd self-cancelling turn signals. It has been mine since April of 2012 when I purchased it with an Illinois salvage title. It appeared to have been dumped on the RH side, ut damage was mainly cosmetic aside from the brake lever being bent. I removed just about everything from the frame to check for defects, ut everything was straight and unscathed, o I continued returning it to a mostly factory condition. It was inspected by highway patrol in 2014 and given a new title in WI as "rebuilt salvage". Tires and brakes are in like-new condition, nd all electricals work. It does not smoke or make any suspicious noises. The wheels are not bent, or do they have any scratches or gouges. The paint job was professionally done in 2013, nd I've taken great care with it since. The bike drives straight when you let go of the handlebars. It has been very reliable, nd hasn't stranded me anywhere. Aside from a couple cosmetic flaws (pictured), t doesn't need anything to continue being a reliable daily driver. I've driven a few larger cc bikes, nd even though this is a 550, believe the fact that it's got 6 gears makes it a rather quick machine when you need to go. I've never actually wished it had more power. It comes with a "UV & water resistant" motorcycle cover, ut I've only used it over the winters to keep dust off of it in the garage. It has lived in the garage since I've had it, nd there isn't any notable rust on the frame to suggest it's ever been parked outside in it's entire life. When I first got it and drove it home, noticed it had a lot of red dust on the frame parts and in crevices throughout the bike, o I figured it might have been parked in some dusty old warehouse for a while before I got it. I bought it because I liked these bikes so much after a friend of mine had sold me the same year/model bike years ago, ut I had to sell that one to make ends meet. This one was in much better shape than the last one, o I couldn't resist. I'm selling this one now because, las, t is time for me to move on. I would like a newer bike, ut I will use this money to help pay off my car. I have ended up putting quite a bit of money into this project, o my asking price is already much lower than I'd like to get back out of it. Feel free to ask questions, r if you want more pics. The pics listed were taken this past October, ut like I said, t's been in the garage under the cover since. I took it out the other day; it fired right up and, gain, idn't have any problems. Thanks for looking!
