1972 Yamaha R5 Unrestored original. Looks and Runs Great.

Very nice 1972 Yamaha R5 350 2 Stroke street bike. This is the predecessor to the RD350. This is in very good condition, uns great, tarts easy, hifts good, verall a great vintage motorcycle.
Bike is pretty much all original. I did install a MZB Hi output CDI electronic ignition. No more points and condensers to replace.
Starts first kick. Also installed a Halogen headlight bulb.
Hard to pick this bike apart but there is a scrape on the right side of gas tank. It's thru the orange paint and exposes the black paint under it. Small dent on left bottom of gas tank. Paint in tacked. Some discoloration on left exhaust pipe from battery acid leaking on it. Should be able to see all of these in photos. This bike is 44 years old but looks and runs absolutely beautifully. Very well maintained. Tires are in great shape. Shes ready to ride and enjoy.
If you notice mileage is 7761 in the photo which is correct. Title says 8452 actual. The bike had 6452 when I purchased it from an older gentleman. Unfortunately he wrote down 8452 on the title instead of 6452. I did not notice this until I went to get the bike titled sometime later. So as to keep the mileage as actual on title it says 8452. Would not be a problem if I had rode it more. But I'm 6'5' tall and as much as I love this bike I look like a monkey riding a bowling ball as my friends say. So Ive only put little over 1300 miles on it in the last 11 years. Anyway we will say 8452 miles.
