1984 Yamaha IT490. Completely restored. Here are the items rebuilt, epainted or polished:
1. New Connecting Rod, onecting rod bearing (OEM Yamaha)
2. Wiseco .50 over piston, iston rings, rist pin & wrist pin bearing
3. Cylinder head has YZ490 modification for combustion chamber (Eliminates Pinging)
4. All new (OEM Yamaha) crankshaft bearings and seals, ickstart seal & gear shift seal
5. Front end has new progressive fork springs with OEM Yamaha fork seals & dust covers
6. Clutch is a barnett heavy duty clutch and springs with drilled clutch basket
7. New Clarke fuel tank with new OEM Yamaha petcock / fuel valve
8. New OEM Yamaha swingarm bearings, eals and bushings
9. New Yamaha seat cover
10. New aftermarket plastic side covers and fenders
11. New D.I.D O-ring chain (Yellow)
12. New JT Sprockets (Stock sizing)
13. New Metzeler Enduro 3 front and rear tires with new tubes (Street Legal)
14. New front and rear wheel bearings.
15. New steering stem bearings
16. Carburator has Sudco Mods for jetting, eedle and piston (All to eliminate pinging)
17. New Air filter in stock airbox
18. New Acerbis Handguards
19. New clutch, hrottle and brake cables and scott grips
The bike has a State of Florida Street Bike title. Yes, ou heard that right, STREET BIKE TITLE!!
If you want the most awesome Supermoto on the street then this bike is for you. Be warned, f you are not and experienced rider then "DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS BIKE" because it WILL hurt you and is a handful to kickstart. It is a 2 stroke BEAST, o if you are not familar with kickstarting a big 2 stroke or unaware of their power DO NOT try to learn on this one. I finished the restoration and broke it in per the instructions of Duncan racing. I let it idle for 15 minutes with a heavy duty fan blowing on it then shut it off for 30 minutes. Then did the same thing with it running for 30 minutes at idle. The price is $3500.00.
