Yamaha YZ490A 1990 - great condition

This is a really nice ride-able example of a 1990 YZ490A. Its not a fully restored show bike, efinitely a rider and boy she looks and rides well. It’s just had a mild restoration and is ready for a new home – sold with bill of sale and copies of bill of sale from last two owners.

Bike runs and starts great, o leaks, ases are good – frame and engine are matching. Frame is straight and suspension surprisingly smooth for a 27 year old bike. .

Air box gaskets replaced, arb rebuilt and jetted to stock with all new Yamaha internals – main, eak jet, eedle, ircrew, owl gasket, eedle valve and float levels adjusted.Front and Rear suspension linkages greased, eals/O-rings replaced and re-assembled.

Bike runs very strong and is not for the inexperienced. Pulls all through rev range with no hesitation or bogging, hifts clean and

It does show signs of having been ridden with scratches on frame as can be seen in the pictures.

Does have two small dents on down-pipe near cylinder head (see pictures) Side covers are original and do have light scratches, /p> Receipts for rebuild included, ll work has been carried out by award winning Yamaha specialist Moto 41 Restorations. Over $1500 spent on parts alone to bring her back to stock.

Only non-stock items are Renthal vintage bars, rips and bar pad, ridgestone Motocross M102 tires.

I have a sensible reserve set, lease don’t ask, ust bid, ive it your best. It’s one of best I have seen, on’t miss out on this piece of two stroke history.
