1981 Yamaha Special XS400, itled, 0,720 miles. Battery is one year old, osing charge sometimes. Bikes starts and runs very well.

I have owned this bike since 2005. Bought at an auto auction with clean title. I do not have any information on previous owners. Repainted two-tone red and orange. Starts up and runs no problem on most days. Could use a tune-up, ut mostly just someone who know where to find older motorcycle parts. Not all original, ut mostly original parts. Box included with some extra parts. See description above for other details. Normal rust, ear and tear for 35 yrs.
Classic bike starts on first kick. Crack in the crankcase. Worn clutch cable needs replaced soon. Tank and fairings/side panels have been repainted, ome chips, cratches etc. Major potential for classic restore project! Cracked turn signal lens and assembly. Both tires have good tread but are old, ront tire has slow leak. Combination switch on right-side handle bar has lost functionality (kill switch, tart button). Starter motor installed but not working. Starter chain and sprocket removed (kick start only) Spark plug wires showing wear,boots and oil/filter changed one year ago. Air boxes included, ut currently aftermarket air filters installed. Missing mirror included but threads do not allow for safe installation. Some engine oil leaks. Brake pads and rotor are working in the front but should be replaced before long. Front fork shock seals are leaking. Tail pipes not original. Seat reupholstered some wear. Helmet included. Registered and insured. No mods, lmost all original, resh gas!
