We are an RV dealer in the mountains of Western Maryland. You are looking at a non-RV that we took on trade towards an RV. It is a privately-owned unit that was traded in to our dealership - it is NOT something we bought at an auction, t is NOT a repo, t is NOT a salvage piece. We avoid items like those, or the same reason you do - you just don't know what you're getting. But if a customer wants to trade an item like this in, owards an RV purchase...well...equity is equity, nd if we think we can sell it, e'll take it on trade!

This R6 is a recent trade-in here at our RV dealership, nd it's the same story we hear a lot - "you can only have so many toys!" This one had to go, o make room for the RV. It is absolutely as pristine as it looks. I put about 30 miles on it, nd I honestly think this is the first time it's EVER been ridden like an R6 should be. The owner was my age - 40s. Maybe a bit older. Owns a Harley as well as the R6. Bought the R6 to COMMUTE to and from work in DC (we're about an hour north of the city)!! This bike has never been tracked. I think today when I rode it, as the first time it had ever seen mountain roads or aggressive lean angles. I saw the rear tire when it was traded (it's in the photo gallery), nd figured it was a brand new tire. Nope - the guy had been riding on these Powers for a year, nd he'd only used about 3" of tread down the center (I did scrub them in for you a little bit when I test rode it...it was fun!). Now, 'm a liter-bike guy. My current personal toy is factory rated for 146hp / 111 Nm. Same wheelbase as this, imilar handling, ut mine's a twin and this is an I4. I was thrilled to take this bike on a test drive, o I could talk coherently about it in this ad. I was quite impressed. Not nearly as torquey as my twin (expected), ut that actually made this one a little easier to ride when not familiar with it. My bike, f you ham-fist the throttle, ill loop in a heartbeat. This R6 is not as eager to toss you if you don't behave - which is nice. Don't get me wrong - this bike SCREAMS (it really comes alive around 11k, nd pulls hard all the way to redline), ut if you need to get around someone in a hurry just remember to click down a gear or two first to get the revs up. Oh, nd when you're in it? It literally screams - the intake honk is quite noticable, nd even with a stock pipe this bike sings a beautiful song. Handling is exceptional. I've spent 10k miles on my 1125 (and a few track days) getting my suspension dialed in; I hopped on the R6 as it was traded, o tinkering at all, nd felt right at home. If I'd taken the time to set it up for myself and set the tire pressures and suspension, probably could have gotten it to turn in a little quicker (I have mine set up super-aggressive, nd he had this R6 set for highway comfort), ut the damping and the handling were very well-controlled on this R6, nd it was very predictable in the twisties - it also helps that I run Michelins on my bike as well, o I'm used to their profile and behavior. And the fact that the suspension is set so conservatively just backs up the fact that all the guy did with it, as commute down the highway, n the HOV lane, o and from work. He set it for comfort, ut it still handles great! I warmed it up on the highway for a couple miles then hit some of my favorite mountain roads, nd the bike loved it. The rev band is so huge (my 1125 only spins to 11,500), pretty much never got into a situation where I had to shift mid-turn on this bike. Power delivery was linear and predictable, o hiccups, o snorts, o holes or flat spots. The gearbox is nice, oo - shift effort is light, lutch effort is light, e had the controls dialed in perfectly, nd the slipper clutch works like a dream. I was actually amazed at how much engine braking there is, oo - a pleasant surprise. The brakes felt great, ice and progressive and certainly effective. And, ven at 6'4" with a 34" inseam...I was surprisingly comfortable on it. The bars have more of a down-angle than my clubmans, ut that was the only real issue I had with them - and more miles would train my wrists to get used to it, 'm sure. But the ergos were comfortable (even for a lanky knuckle-dragger like me), here's tons of room to move around on the seat, lenty of room to scoot back and tuck in, he pegs are in a good spot, nd all the controls are well-done and nicely-set. Even the heat wasn't bad - I always ride in armor and today's no exception, ut even in near-90-degree weather today on the mountain roads, he heat wasn't "hot". I could tell I was sitting on an internal combustion engine...but no hot spots or discomfort at all through my riding gear. I can't believe the guy only commuted to work on this bike. It has a factory pipe, hich performs just fine (and I like quiet exhaust anyway, y head doesn't hurt after longer rides this way!). The bodywork is all factory, ith the exception of a tail-tidy plate mount. There's a pair of frame sliders that haven't touched the ground. The gauges are clear, nd work just like they should (although I didn't tinker with the lap timer, r programming the shift light, ince i wasn't familiar with the bike yet). There are a couple small nicks in the decals - near your left knee, nd on the edge of the passenger pillion. My guess is he used a tail bag, nd the straps rubbed through the paint back there (and there are two tiny nicks in the passenger seat cushion), nd the spots by the left knee could be from riding gear or even a tank bag buckle. Who knows. Regardless...this bike is CLEAN. It's about as virgin a sportbike as you're going to find on the used market! But even as focused as it is, ou can still "just ride it". It'll lump along in traffic fine, ou don't have to be running it wide-open to have any fun. It doesn't snort, t doesn't cough, t behaves, t doesn't overheat. Of course, t prefers to be on the open road (or at a track day)...but you can use it as transportation if you want without wondering "why am I doing this to myself?". He also traded it in with all the maintenance up to date, lthough he did admit he hadn't lubed the chain yet this season. It (and the sprockets) look to be good though, o a shot of lube and you'll be all set to go. And, he color is just cool. They'll definitely see you coming on this one, nd we all know we'll take all the visibility we can get out there surrounded by cagers! If you have any questions for me, r want any particular information on this bike, lease let me know. I'm happy to get you the answers you need. This is - truly - as nice, lean, nd pristine as it looks in the ad. You will NOT be disappointed! If you live in Maryland, e'll take care of the MD safety inspection for you when you click Buy It Now...but it'll take a couple days. We don't do bike inspections here, o we have to get it down to a shop we work wtih and have them do the work for us. I know...it'll be tough waiting for this one...but it's well worth the wait!!

We sort all the paperwork electronically, nd I get everything prepped so you can make ONE TRIP to pick it up, ay for it, and take it home with you! Motorized, owable, opups, th wheels, ravel trailers, ou name it and I probably have one (or more) that will fit what you're looking for. Just because it's not on eBay doesn't mean we don't have it - we've got nearly 500 UNITS IN STOCK!! Can I come see an item in person before I bid? SURE!! Our location is at the top of this ad - there's a link to us on Mapquest, ou can plot your directions right there. Just make sure when you get here, hat you ASK FOR JOE (THE EBAY GUY). Why do I need to ask for Joe? Because I'm the eBay guy! I write all these ads personally. I take all the photos personally. I go through all the units personally. I don't use website photos or canned descriptions - I walk through them and check them out for you with my own two eyes. All that takes time, nd effort - and let's face it, t's what got you interested in this item to begin with! If you have questions about this item...I've gone through it personally, nd I can answer all your questions because of it. Sure, here are other salespeople here - but we all get our pricing from the same managers, o talking to someone else in the hopes they'll come up with a lower price than you see here on eBay? It won't work (and that's a direct quote from the company owner), o ASK FOR JOE and you're going to get a great unit for a great price, rom someone who's gone through it personally and checked everything out for you so you know what you're getting for your money!! Ask for Joe - you get a great unit for a great price, get paid for all the hard work I do...everyone goes home happy! ?Can I buy it outside of eBay? I guess you could...but why? My pricing here is thousands below retail - I've DONE your haggling for you already! eBay is quick, nd it's easy. You don't have to be here in person, ust click the button, ake the deposit...and it's all yours! Locked up and waiting for you to arrive! There are no surprise fees when you buy it here - for you, r for me. I pay my listing fees when I put an item online, nd there are no fees when they sell on eBay. And lastly, f I have to pull an item because of an off-eBay sale...it hurts my seller rating (eBay sees it as a "failure to fulfill an order"), o we try really hard not to do that. If you want to see it in person, ome out and see it...but ask for Joe and bring your smartphone so you can click that button on the lot. People do it all the time! When you do, ou get a great deal on an item...and I get paid for the work I did writing the ad! If you buy it from one of my coworkers...I don't get paid for all the work I did on the ad!! That doesn't save you any money...it just means THEY get paid, OT ME. Do you like getting paid for the work you do? So do I !!!!!!! So...BRING YOUR PHONE and be ready to CLICK THAT BUTTON!!
