1979 Yamaha XS750 Special

Bike does NOT run. I have not had it opened but previous owner said piston 2 is stuck but everything else will turn over. This is claimed to be because it was ran with no oil. I was going to build it as a cafe racer but have had problems with the title and getting it registered in my state. That is why I have not opened the engine up. Bike is solid for its age and will be a great builder. Has good tires and battery. Paint is decent for the age as well. I was told it was on the road earlier this season. It has 23,700 miles. There are a lot of parts out there for these bikes.

The last few owners were title jumpers and therefore I cannot register it in Kentucky. At least 2 sellers ago signed the title over to a previous owner who never registered the bike. Maybe in your state with more relaxed laws on titling this could be registered or maybe you just don't care and can figure out a way to use the bike or part it out. I am listing it as a parts bike but it has a CLEAR Michigan title. It is unfortunate to not build this bike because it has strong potential even with the engine woes.

The bike is located in northeastern Kentucky. I will not deliver and would prefer any potential buyers to come and pick up the bike. $50 PayPal deposit due in 12 hours with the remaining balance to be paid in person in the form of cash.
